SeLane didn't start as a business. It started with a feeling that a woman shouldn't have to pick between covering with grace and feeling beautiful. Selay never believed those two things were separate. So she started making pieces that held both, one at a time, by hand. What came out of that carries her name and a bit of who she is: Selay, and Lane her own road, taken her own way.

Where each piece
begins

It starts with fabric handpicked Japanese textiles chosenc for
the way they fall and hold light. Then the slow part: every motif
embroidered by hand, in small numbers, so no two pieces feel
mass-made. This is the difference you feel when you wear it.

The Detail

Look closely and you'll see it the small imperfections that
only come from a human hand. Every motif is embroidered slowly,
one stitch after another, never printed or machine-copied.
That's why no two pieces are ever exactly alike, and why each one
feels a little more personal than the last.
